Default Why does text look like ###### even when wrap is turned on?

Well, I guess I already asked it. In "format cells" I checked the
"wrap" option. But still when I type a fair amount of text in, with
spaces, commas, semi-colons, the cell just is filled with one line of
solid #'s. Why doesn't it just show the text? I thought that is what
wrap is supposed to do. It works on other cells with less text.

Thanks....

Sarah
