Default dagger instead of asterisk

for reference notes I would like to use a dagger for a second note, the first
being an asterisk. Is there a dagger somewhere in the fonts menu or
elsewhere in the program? Any advice on drawing attention to reference notes
would be appreciated. Thanks.

Hi,

For a dagger type Alt+0134
For a double dagger type Alt+0135

To use unicode hold down Alt and type the numbers on the number pad,
not the numbers at the top of the keyboard, then release the Alt key
