Default record a macro to update pivot table

I have a pivot table and want to record a macro that refreshes and then sorts
in descending order.
When i do this i keep getting error 1004

Any ideas where i have gone wrong
Is is there another way to refresh and automatically sort

What version of Excel are you using, and what does your recorded code look
like?
On which line of code does it show the error message?
