Default New files

I have a spreadsheet that needs updating twice weekly. The information comes
from an outside source so I have to save it down and then cut and paste the
data I need. Is there a way of using a macro etc for this or am I stuck
cutting and pasting and losing the will to live!!

Cheers

Also, I create reports evrey week on this data. Anybody got any suggestions
of new report techniques using excel? My are starting to bore the hell out of
me!
