Default Change Box Line Weight - Excel 2007

I'm trying to greatly increase the line weight around a box in Excel
2007. If I go to Format/Format Cells/Border I choose the darkest line
for the box, but it is still very light. I want something really
bold, like 1/16" line width.

I looked in the Help and it refers to, under Drawing Tools, on the
Format tab, in the Shape Styles group, click the arrow next to Shape
Outline. I can't find any of these things. This new format for Excel
drives me crazy.

but it is still very light

Funny, looks just as dark to me as in Excel 2003.

If you want to insert a rectangle as a border you should go to the Insert
tab and grab a rectangle by clicking the Shapes button in the Illustrations
group. Once you select the rectangle the Drawing Tools, Format tab becomes
visible. This is what they call a 'contextual tab' - meaning you only see
it when it applies.

Thanks. That worked, but it's a little clumsy when you just want to
darken the outline of a box. What I meant by light was that it was
too thin. I don't ever remember having to go through this to thicken
a line in Excel XP.
