I have two identical spreadsheets in the same book, one uses drop down
validation boxes, I am trying to copy the contents only to email the sheet without the links. When I try to 'paste special', 'values', I get the error message, 'merged cells must be the same size. But the format of both sheets, merged cells, sizes and formats are identical. Why am I getting this error message ? |

As a workaround, try pasting special as values on a "brand new" sheet (one
w/o any merge cells). -- Max Singapore http://savefile.com/projects/236895 xdemechanik --- "Mike DFR" wrote: I have two identical spreadsheets in the same book, one uses drop down validation boxes, I am trying to copy the contents only to email the sheet without the links. After pasting special as values, do another paste special as formats to

I have tried, pasting special, values, then formats, and formats then values.
In the new sheet, all the cells are the rows and columns are the same size, so then I need to resize everything. What I ideally need to do is copy the contents without the dropdown boxes. I have some knowledge of VB in Excel & Access. Is there a command I could use in VB to copy the contents? Thanks for you help to date.
