Default Copying a worksheet witrh protected cells to a new worksheet

I have a worksheet that has certain cells in certain columns that are
protected so that formulas cannot be accidentally overwritten. However, when
I go to paste that sheet into a new worksheet, it will not copy to the new
worksheet. How can I make this work?

Unprotect the sheet, create the copy, protect original sheet.

Thats unless you are trying to copy someone elses hard work.

I meant to say that I wanted to make multiple copies of the original sheet
and have them automatically protected just as the original worksheet
is...wanted to know if there is a way to do that.
