Default ho do i get my excel'03 to show margins etc. in inches than in cm

i used to have my excel show all ruler readings in inches but all of sudden
it has started showing it in centimeters!

someone suggested to get it done from winword tools options general.

Tried that but it still does not change.

Excel uses the measurement system set in your Regional and Language Options.

StartSettingsControl PanelRegional and Language OptionsRegiona;
OptionsCustomize.
