Default date format

I have a comstat workbook which has 52 worksheet tabs for all the weeks. I
have it linked to a workbook tha has one column set up with the beginning
date we use for the weeks. This workbook is formatted with custom mm-dd-yy
and it shows the month day and 07 for the year. In my originial workbook
something has happened and the cell that brings in that date now shows the
month-day-11 for the year. I cannot get the year to revert back to 07. I
went back in the date workbook and it shows it as 07, does anyone know why
the date on the original is showing the year as 11 instead of what is showing
on the other workbook?
Thanks,
