Default adding a hyper link to a cell comment

i would like to add a hyperlink to a comment box. is this possible? if so how?

In a comment, no.
In a Textbox, yes.

Just insert a textbox from Drawing and type the hyperlink in. It will be
"click-able"

is it possible to attach a text box to a cell in a similar way to which a
comment box is attached?

I had to rightclick on the textbox and assign the hyperlink to the textbox.

Is that what you meant or did you really type the hyperlink into that textbox
from the drawing toolbar?

Actually, just typing the URL in the textbox works on my system WIN XP Excel
XP.

This is a textbox from the Drawing toolbar

I think it'll depend on what else you type in that textbox.

If you don't put anything else in except the hyperlink, then it's essentially
doing the assign hyperlink stuff.
