I have a large spreadsheet with cells cells that contain extended comments.
In these comments are code numbers like "T 16 N., R8E S05A01", but this is not neccessarily regular. I want to convert these to a format like "16N/8E-05A01". I tried doing a find and replace, but it seems to behave erratically when trying to find anything with spaces in it, for example: " N.," Sometimes it will find and replace and sometimes it can't find the desired string. Is there a problem when seraching for things with spaces in them? Thanks, morgs |
