Find and Replace glitches...

I have a large spreadsheet with cells cells that contain extended comments.
In these comments are code numbers like "T 16 N., R8E S05A01", but this is
not neccessarily regular. I want to convert these to a format like
"16N/8E-05A01".

I tried doing a find and replace, but it seems to behave erratically when
trying to find anything with spaces in it, for example: " N.,"

Sometimes it will find and replace and sometimes it can't find the desired
string.

Is there a problem when seraching for things with spaces in them?

Thanks,
morgs

the space might be a non breaking space. which needs to be entered
differently in the find replace
Find What: [Alt]+0160.......(Hold down [Alt]€¦type 0160€¦release [Alt])
replace with regular space
now try your other replace

Just don't forget to the NUMPAD when you enter 0160 in "Replace what?"
