Default Excel : while typing the Enter key, it does not move to the cell b

Hi,

It is not keyboard issue. With MS Word, it works well and cursor goes to the
next line when I tyoe Enter key. I have changed the keyboard as well and I
still have the same problem.
I am on Windows XP and Excel 2002.

Try Tools/Options/Edit, check the Move selection after Enter and set the
Direction dropdown to Down.
