Default Multi-Level Subtotals

I need to display the left-hand column field name in my sub-tota rows.
Sub-totals are focused on column B. For instance, I need to display the name
of a worker (in column A) next to the field name of each kind of work they
did as shown in column B - ( work codes are sub-totaled in column B). The
sub-totals are displayed in column B, but not the names of who did the work.
My final list needs to show the worker's names in column A and the five-digit
work-type codes (sub-total field) and the summed count of work in Column C.
(A pivot table is no good here because I must produce a list in columns as
the final product. I will match that list (table) with another table in MS
Access, to produce the final report.
