Default Pivot Table Data Area

Is there any way to overwrite the data in the data area, specifically what I
am doing is updating the Forecast for the BOY and would like to use the PT as
a form that I would then feed back into my data source. For the previous
Forecast update I copy/past/special/value then entered in the formulas for
the subtotals. I can not re-use the form I previous created and I do not
want to re-write all of the formulas to create the form for the 20 or so
departments.
