Hi
I have found this disturbing error in excel. Go to a cell and type in =1.1-1.2+0.1 and I get 1.38778E-16 instead of zero. KB78113 does discuss something similar, but I read it as saying that the close to zero problem was fixed in '97 It is no wonder I am unable to get Oracle to match Excel results. Excel can't seem to do simple mathematics. |
