Default Date Format Corruption

Hi There

When copying a data table from Word to Excel, the date format becomes
corrupted. Midway through the data the date changes from 11/12/2006 15:29:20
to 11/13/2006 2:08:40 AM. In the Word document the format remains consistent.
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks
Brett

Brett

You sure it changes from 11/12/2006 to 11/13/2006?

Maybe changes to 11/13/2010 which would indicate your Excel is using the 1904
date system which adds 4 years and 1 day.

I assume that the later ones are being treated as text, as Excel doesn't
recognise month 13, but does recognise month 12. If you are getting
confused between dd/mm/yyyy and mm/dd/yyyy, then it's worth checking your
Windows regional settings.
