Default Formulas

Help! I have a question about 2 Microsoft programs and their compatibility.
I have an Access query that I export to Excel and need to continually update
the Excel spreadsheet within a workbook. My workbook has 2 spreadsheets
within. One spreadsheet is the imported Access query the other spreadsheet
has many complicated formulas within it. Once the workbook is setup I then
need to update the one spreadsheet with current data. I have done extensive
research and I am unable to come up with a solution as to maintaining my
formulas on one sheet when the other sheet gets updated. Every time I update
the imported Access query I get error messages and finally the formulas are
turned into just numbers. Is there a way to stop this from happening?
