Hi Rexmann,
I was hoping to put the validation material on another worksheet but it does not seem to let me (I tried manually entering the link but it came up with it was not able to do this). Is there away around this or is it just the way it is. Although useful to have on a separate sheet it is not essential. Select your source list and give it a name (insert, name, define). Then use that name as the listsource formula in the data validation, preceded with an equal sign: =TheNameYouDefined Regards, Jan Karel Pieterse Excel MVP http://www.jkp-ads.com Member of: Professional Office Developer Association www.proofficedev.com |
