Data Validation

Hi All

I have a spreadsheet that has lots of drop down lists using
data-validation-list method.

I was hoping to put the validation material on another worksheet but it does
not seem to let me (I tried manually entering the link but it came up with it
was not able to do this).

Is there away around this or is it just the way it is. Although useful to
have on a separate sheet it is not essential.

Any help or suggestions (even if it is to say you can't!) greatly appreciated

Kind regards

Rexmann

Select your source list and give it a name (insert, name, define). Then use
that name as the listsource formula in the data validation, preceded with an
equal sign:

=TheNameYouDefined
