Sending Workbook to an email address.
Hello,
I use Microsoft Excel every day at the office for day-to-day work. Simple things, usually nothing complicated. Now I was asked to create a Workbook with 2 Spreadsheets that will be contain fields that the user will have to fill up and the send via internet. If the pre-made fields are not filled up with info the Workbook should not be able to close or save, or it will report an incomplete status. The hard part is that I was asked to make automatic the internet transport. I don't know if Excel supports such a thing? Anyone knows if there's a way to send the file via internet in auto, without messing with too much visual basic? Personally I think that this should be done in ActiveX or via Outlook in someway, but I can see no obvious solutions. Best Regards, P. Atmatzidis |

Sending Workbook to an email address.
So, you want an email that forces somebody to fill out some information, then
automatically sends it back to you... You might run into problems getting that code past most virus checkers. I never wrote anything for ActiveX or related software so I'd didn't know were to start although I understand that activeX might be the elegant solution. Thank you |
