I have the problem that when I work in an English version of Office on a
Spanish Windows machine the millions separator is not present. I only get the period for the decimal separator and the first comma for the thousands separator, but from the millions on up there are now comma separators. Any ideas |

Excel doesn't know about a millions separator. AFAIK (I might be wrong!), Spanish (and not even all the variants of it) is the
only language having a millions separator that differs from the thousands separator. -- Kind regards, Niek Otten Microsoft MVP - Excel "davetip7" wrote in message ... |I have the problem that when I work in an English version of Office on a | Spanish Windows machine the millions separator is not present.
