Default Another sorting problem

Is there any way to sort rows to delete duplications, yet keep some of
the information in the row in tact?

As an example, if I have a specific word in column A, lines 2, 19, and
63, with a corresponding 'X' in cells D2, F19, and H63, can I sort so
it removes the duplicated words in column A but keeps the x's all in
one line (so I would end up with the word in A2, with an 'X' in D2,
F2, and H2)?
