Default CSV / SP2 download question

Ok..I don't know but this may be an IE problem.
Before installing XP service pack 2, downloading a CSV file from a website
would open in EXCEL. Now it just opens in the browser and it won't let me
save as a CSV file (only html or txt).
Anybody know of a setting to change this?

I think the easiest thing to try is to reregister excel (let it take back its
associations):

Close Excel and
Windows Start Button|Run
excel /unregserver
then
Windows Start Button|Run
excel /regserver

The /unregserver & /regserver stuff resets the windows registry to excel's
factory defaults.

Then test it out.

If it doesn't work, you may be able to reassign the associations manually.

Open windows explorer
find a .csv file
shift-rightclick on it
You should see an "open with"
point at excel
And make sure you check that box saying it should always use this program to
open these files.
