Default Print to PDF with SHEET names

Hello Everyone,

I am having a problem that is causing my head to nearly explode. We
need to figure out a way to print seperate worksheets from within a
workbook to PDF using the worksheet names. The problem we are running
into is that each time we go to print to PDF via a certain selected
sheet, we always save the file as the Workbook name. Is there any way
to have the PDF save as the worksheet name instead??? I have searched
through this forum and a few other for the last 2 hours and I can't
seem to locate anything.

Thanks for the help.

If you don't get many answers, you may want to include what software you're
using to create the .PDF files.

I would think that the solutions might vary between programs.

Default Print to PDF with SHEET names

Hi,

Check and print them accoridngly to .PDF:

1. Check the Print area.
2. Cancel the Print area and set the print area.
3. Check whether Custom View is used for printing. If Custom View is used
follow the procedure as illustrated below:

Print using Custom View.

Do the following:

1. Select a range of cells.
2. On the View menu, click Custom Views.
3. In the Views box, click the name of the view
(view: A set of display and print settings that you can name and apply
to a
workbook. You can create more than one view of the same workbook without
saving separate copies of the workbook.) you want to print.
4. Click Show.
The range of cells will be shown as selected
5. Click Print.
6. Under Print What, click Selection
7. Click OK.

Note: You craete as many Custom View as possible, and print only those
views. Most important thing is you must select the range and during print you
must select Selection option. You can chage the Page sige before printing.

4. On the File menu, click Print Preview.
5. Click the Margins button and adjust the handles, and then click the Close
button to return to the Excel sheet. Now click the Print command under the
File menu.

Unfortunately that doesn't address our problem. We need to save the
file as the worksheet name. Using your method still saves as the
Workbook name...unless I missed something.

Thanks for the reply!!
