Default Excel 2007 Formula Display

All formulas display their solutions in their cells except for 2 cells (F633
and F634) which display their formulas. The formula, which is
=COUNTIF(G7:G629,"E"), works fine if I place it in another cell! The original
workbook was created in an earlier version of Excel (unknown version) but it
worked fine in Excel 2003. Changing the workbook from Compatibility Mode to
Excel 2007 (.xlsm) did not solve the problem.

Thanks!

The format in cells F633 and F634 are text. I also tried changing it to
numbers but that did not solve the problem.

HI John,

Format the cell as General AND re-enter the formula (F2, ENTER)
