Default hiding cells

I am trying to hide cells, which I can using Custom ;;; However, my cells
are also on a validation list (cells containing numbers and decimals), so
after I hide the cells, and click on my drop down box, it shows blanks. The
scroll bar is still there, it's just that the selection data is missing.

Any suggestions? Thanks

I prefer to actually type the data for the validation in the validation
windows instead of liking to cells in a sheet itself. In the dialog window
for validation, select list, and instead of putting your range in, type the
values in seperated by commas.

Anything is possible if you don't know what you're talking about.
