Oops, missed the 2007. Shadow on cells went away in 2007. I vaguely
remember that being discussed during the beta test. -- Jim "gjpundsack" wrote in message ... |I clicked on "View" and find I have no toolbar. | | |

In 2007 you'd achieve the shadow effect by Inserting a rectangular shape from
the Insert tab on to your cell. Draw it the same size as your cell, right on top. With the shape selected, switch to the Drawing Tools-Format tab and set the Shape Fill to "no fill". Then you can experiment with the new graphics -- shadows, glows, blurs, etc. The shape will conform to your cell, so if you insert or delete rows, increase/decrease cell size, etc. the shape will change as well (so you don't need to keep manually adjusting it) -- ----------------------------------------- This posting is provided "as is" with no warranties, and confers no rights. Hi Renee
What do you think of this thread "Default a workbook to save as a xlsm (macro-enabled) in 2007" I think a xltm template must default to xlsm when you save -- Regards Ron de Bruin http://www.rondebruin.nl/tips.htm "Renee [MSFT]" wrote in message ...
