Default How do I show zeros?

I need to show some numbered codes on my spreadsheet. But everytime I type
the codes with zeros in the beginning Excel deletes the zeros. So...

0051200
ends up being
51200

How do I stop this?

One of these three methods...............

Pre-format the cells as Text.

Type and apostrophe then your number.

Custom Format as 0000000
