Default heavy file

hi, i would like to get your advice regarding a problem i have with a big
file.
i have a big file that exist alot of sheets with vlookups and formulas
between them.
one of the sheet is the heaviest. what is the best way to make the file less
heavy.
do you have any idea?
i forgot to mention that the heaviest sheet is like a data base which
includes a lot of data. a lot of vlookups are related to it.
