Default Copying data across lines

hi,

I have a list which has been exported into excel, I need to copy rows down,
but there are gaps.

i.e
Row Heading data
west 123
145
675
East 565
698
123
985
South 122
122
145

How do I copy the row headings which in this example are West, East and South?

thanks

amanda
