I have a table of terms (listed in column A on one worksheet) which is LINKED
to column A on another sheet within the same workbook. On this second worksheet, each term "picked up" from column A of the first worksheet is displayed against its respective definition on the same line/row in column B, and the matching cross-reference for each term is listed on the same line in column C. My problem is, every time I add a new term to the lilst in column A on the first sheet, the linked column A on the second sheet throws everything out of whack, and the terms no longer match up with their definitions and cross-references in columns B and C respectively. Is there a way to tell Excel to treat each row as an inviolable ENTRY and ENTITY, and to shift the other two columns up or down every time I add or delete a term in the first column of the first sheet? Thank you in advance for any help! |
