Default Gridlines

Hello, any Excel workbook or worksheet I open does not have any gridlines. I
have gone to Tools, Options, checked and unchecked the gridline box to no
avail. I checked the colors options to see if I had somehow changed the
color. I have tried Detect and Repair. I have gone into the Add/Remove
programs and tried to repair from there, but I am having no luck whatsoever.
Can anyone advise?
Thanks

Perhaps you've applied white to obscure the lines. Go to the formatting
toolbar, select the paint icon and choose "no fill"

Thanks for answering Dave however, I have tried that also, and still there
are no gridlines at all. I have to manually select from the border list if I
want to see these lines.

Check your monitor settings. If it's too bright, it may be nearly impossible
to see the gray lines.
