All I want to do is change the column heading names so that when I go from
spreadsheet to database layout, I can choose "First Name" rather than "A" (to choose which fields I want to print on my address labels.) I have tried all the help files to no avail... You would think this would be easy - I hope it is and I'm just missing it somewhere! :o) |

Unfortunately, it is impossible to do what you want. The column and row
headings are there to identify the cell and cannot be changed to words. Hi jaymilisa
Only way is to use freeze panes in the Data menu to freeze the first row and in Toolsoptions uncheck column and row headers -- Regards Ron de Bruin http://www.rondebruin.nl/tips.htm "jaymilisa" wrote in message ...
