Default HOW TO COMPACT AN EXCEL FILE

DEAR ALL
Like in ACESS, is there a way to compact the excel file?? My file has
become 1.3mb. Pls adv.

No, there is no such tool in Excel.

Default HOW TO COMPACT AN EXCEL FILE

Not really,
but if there are cells with formulas which only needed to be calculated once
changing them to values will reduce the size.
Additionally, if you have a column of similar formulas, leave the top one as
a formula and paste value the rest. when you need an update just copy the
formula at the top down and recopy and paste values before you save

Thnks ur time. My file has gone too big with so many formulas and
calculations to each time copy and paste etc.
Hvr, tks for the sugestion and noted the trick to reduce the memory
space if needed.
