"Debra Dalgleish" wrote: In Excel, you can use Natural Language formulas, as explained he http://support.microsoft.com/kb/279412 Using the first example in that article, you could type the following formula in a cell: =Product A First Quarter and the result would be 100. You can identify the label ranges: Choose InsertNameLabel Select range A2:A4, select Row labels, click Add Select range B1:C1, select Column labels, click Add Click OK Then, in an empty cell, type an equal sign, then click on cell B2 The natural language formula is automatically created. However, there are limitations to using natural language formulas, and it's better to use named ranges. arutchelvi wrote: Sir,would u plz exaplin me the label option(i.e)insert-name-label with an example.(esp. the use of add label range and existing label range) -- Debra Dalgleish Contextures http://www.contextures.com/tiptech.html |
