I'm trying to create a 10 x 10 (100 squares) for my Superbowl pool. One team
goes on the left side, while the other goes on the top. I need to create the text for these. |

Since this is designed just for printing, I will suggest "merged cells" Select B1:K1 and FormatCellsAlignmentHorizontalCenter across selection. Enter Colts. Select A2:A11 and FormatCellsAlignmentMerge Cells. Enter Chicago. FormatCellsAlignmentOrientationText Resize rows and columns to suit.
