Default find a name from a list then extract it

This is for winners of a hole in golf. I have a list of 48 names in column a.
I pull out a possible 18 winners in another column. There is very seldom all
18 winners so there is blank rows in between the winners. I would like to
just pull out the winners and put them together without missing rows.
column
a b
jeff jeff
jay " "
kevin kevin
tom tom
jim " "
I would like another column to just show the winners jeff, kevin, tom.
The names and amount of winners will be different for every round.

Perhaps you could sort the column of winners so blanks go to the
bottom of the list

I have a winners sheet listing the hole winners. I want to put all the
winners together and how much they won. If a person won more than one hole I
have to add those together. After I post the scores I want the sheet to
automatically be updated.
