Default Screen not moving with filter

I have a shared workbook with filters. On the odd occasion when a user
selects a filter, the screen doesnt move with the cursor. i.e. i can select
cell A100 but the screen does not follow it to view. Has anyone else
encountered this?

Just a guess.

Maybe Freeze panes was turned on in the wrong spot.

Window|UnFreeze Panes
(If Unfreeze panes is a choice, then this isn't the answer.)
then
Filter|Data|Show all

Now freeze the panes where you really want them (under row 1??)
