Default PROBLEM WITH EXCEL TABLE IN WORD

WHEN I INSERT EXCEL TABLE IN WORD IT DOES NOT ALLOW ME TO GO BACK TO THE
INSERTED TABLE FOR EDITING IT SAYS USER HAVE NO ACCESS PRIVILEGES; THIS IS
OFFICE 2003. CAN SOME ONE HELP
