Default delete objects

I am attempting to delete an object that has about 300 copies stacked on top
of each other. When I select it and then delete it the top one is the only
one that gets deleted. Is there a way to delete all of them at one time?

Select the first one, then press Ctrl-Shift-Space to select all of
them, then press delete and they'll all be gone.
