Hi
Without converting to minutes first, with time in A1 in the form 10:45 =A1-Time(0,5,0) will deduct 5 minutes and give a result of 10:40 -- Regards Roger Govier "thisguy" wrote in message ... converting hrs. and mins. to mins. then subtracting a given amount of mins. |

To convert a time (hh:mm:ss) to minutes, multiply by 1440 (the number of minutes
in a day). Format as a number. Then subtract your minutes. -- Regards, Fred "thisguy" wrote in message ... converting hrs. and mins. to mins. then subtracting a given amount of mins. |
