I have a whole workbook that automatically rounds off the decimal places and
I do not know how to turn this off. It happens with hard coded numbers, but not the values of formulas. It happens when I click "subtract decimals" button on the formatting menu bar. When I add back decimals to the format, the number has been rounded up or down permanently. Any ideas would be appreciated |

Tools-Options-"Calculation" Tab-"Precision as Displayed"
Uncheck this option. "Clay64" wrote: I have a whole workbook that automatically rounds off the decimal places and I do not know how to turn this off. Please help I'm so frustrated by this. I cannnot find "Precision as
Displayed" as there is no "Calculation Tab" in my Options. I only have General/View/Data Entry Tabs. I know if I could check Precision as Displayed it would solve my rounding problem as it worked fine on my workplace computer, but any ideas where I might find it on my home PC? Have a look at Tools | Options | Calculation (tab) and near the bottom
of this panel you will see "Precision as displayed" - ensure that this is unchecked. Hope this helps. What version are you using, in Excel 2007 you click the Office button (upper
left), then select Excel Options, then select advanced, then just scroll down until you see it. Previous versions have it under toolsoptionscalculation just like the answer you received Regards, Peo Sjoblom "juliebigal" wrote in message ... Please help I'm so frustrated by this.
