Default Report Manager

After installing the report manager add-in (rptmge.exe) excel freezes when
run. Nothing on the tool bar works. I reinstalled the add-in, no help; ran
a repair, no help; then removed and reinstalled excel, no help.

What can I do to remove the add-in if I can't get to the tool bar.

Do a windows search for *.xla, assuming you are using windows xp make sure
that you search hidden files and folders as well
It might be in your equivalent of something like this where I have add-ins

C:\Documents and Settings\Per Sjoblom\Application Data\Microsoft\AddIns

Delete the file

If it opens ok make sure you uncheck it under toolsadd-ins

If it still freezes do a search for *xlb and rename/delete it (I believe in
2003 it is called Excel11.XLB), it is the toolbar/menu file and it will
recreate a new one when you restart excel but all your customizations will
be gone

Here's a link on how to install the report manager in 2003
