Default Date Cut & Paste Issue

I am creating a workbook to post our accounts receivable. Each day I have to
cut and paste so that it keeps adding the new figures - and I am confused as
to how this is done??? Help???

First copy/paste value and then copy/paste format. This will insure that the
formatting matches.

Question:

I cut and paste Value a date onto another area, and format that date
to Date format, but it's showing a different date.

Can someone help? Thanks a lot.
