copying formula
When i copy a formula from old.xls to new.xls
then it shows the old values =((('[Old.xls]Eng-clusters'!$N$13+'[Oud.xls]Eng-clusters'!$N$53)/4)+('[Old.xls]Eng-clusters'!$N$40+'[Old.xls]Eng-clusters'!$N$101))*[Old.xls]Algemeen!$E$55 How can i change this that the new file name is used |

copying formula
Try copying the formula text from the formula bar instead of copying the

If it is one formula add a ' before it and copy it to the new workbook Then remove the ' If there a lot of formulas you can use edit replace And replace = with qqq for example Copy the cells to the new workbook and use EditReplace to chnage qqq to = -- Regards Ron de Bruin http://www.rondebruin.nl "derksj" wrote in message ...
