Hello,
Is there a way to limit the number of characters that can be entered into a cell without created a text box and doing it that way? Thanks. |

You can use Data Validation to restrict cell entries to a specific length.

I belive that the simple way is with data validation, enter the greatest entries by stating 100 max or 1000 and that would allow the number of characters and allows you to use Input, Error messages.
