I use Excel 2003 for creating modeling applications that involve a lot of
buttons (extensive use of the forms toolbar and macros).

In 07, I am yet to find an equivalent to a Forms Toolbar outside of going to
the Office menu and finding the needed tools in Excel Options and the adding
the "commands not in ribbon" to the tiny shortcut bar next to the save and
undo/redo shortcuts.

Is there a way to add the forms toolbar as a module to the ribbon?

Toolbars are apparently a thing of the past. But you can still get to the
Forms controls and the Controls Toolbox controls in 2007. Go to the big
round Office menu button, click on Excel Options, and search for and check
the Show Developer Tab in Ribbon checkbox. These controls are found on an
Insert button somewhere on the Developer tab. I can't tell you exactly
where, because I've got 2007 running only on my spare laptop, which is
downstairs. But you might find other things while looking around, so the
time won't be a complete waste.

If you go into Excel Options found under the main Microsoft Button you can go to the 'Popular' tab and under 'Top options for working with Excel' check the box next to 'Show Developer tab in the Ribbon'
