How can I unlock an excel document that was e-mailed to me?
If the sender does not tell you how to unlock.

What prevents you typing in it?
What message do you get when you try to type? Perhaps the sheet is protected. Look under ToolsProtection and see what is available. The sender may have to supply you with a password to unlock the sheet.
