Default Can the tab order be changed in Excell?

I am trying to make the tab order vertical, but by default it's horizontal.

Is there a way to change the tab order in Excell?

No, the default TAB order cannot be changed to Vertical, but there are
work-arounds.

See the info here at Bob Phillips' site.

There is another method which involves VBA Worksheet event code. If
interested in that, post back.

No, the default tab order cannot. You can use the down arrow to move down,
or on the Tools, Options, Edit, change the direction to down and then when
you press the Enter Key the cursor will move down.
